Dear Mrs. Wang:
I am in receipt of the file records forwarded by your American counsel for the above
referenced case. This letter is to advise you that I shall charge RMB 5,000.00 (USD
$625.00) to start the process of assessing your case, including reviewing the draft
complaint prepared by your American counsel in English language that you are
planning to file with the Beijing Intermediate People’s Court.
The five thousand Yuan will cover the assessment of your case only, including a final
assessment opinion letter advising you of the pros and cons of litigating your case in
China. Any other services will need a formal retainer agreement between you and us.
Please pay the case-assessment fee by a cashier’s check payable to Zhang, Wang &
Lee, L.L.P.
Enclosed is an information form that you will need to fill out as accurately as possible.
This information form will provide the information needed to complete your file
records for an accurate and thorough assessment. Please read it carefully and
double-check your answers for correctness.
